Air Choice One..WOW

After joining Air Choice One he underwent extensive training using a flight simulator exactly mimicking the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft he is currently using.

“It was spot on,” he said of the simulator. “It was amazing.”

Above all, he’s looking forward to balancing a good family life with a career he truly loves.

“It’s unbelievable I get paid to go have fun every day,” Miehe said.

But not too much fun.

His childhood fantasies notwithstanding, Miehe promises squeamish travelers he has no intention of flying upside down during commercial trips.

“There are other aircraft that are better designed for that,” he said.

Toolish? Why?

It's a local fluff piece talking about a new pilot in their community. I don't think the reporting was aiming for hard hitting journalism. And the pilot was trying to make his company look good.

Welll woops I guess I just read it wrong. Well at least he will be home every night. Sounds like a better QOL than me after 4 years.

This guy must be new at ACO.

I remember when I had stars in my eyes. I miss it. I remember cynics mocking me for it. I don't miss that.

I hope for his sake that he stays who he is and doesn't turn in to us.

Could not agree more,Hetman.
loving flying helps one persevere and find the beauty in the mundane and the setbacks.
I hope he has a blast and enjoys his career....no matter what it may bring.

With their payscales and work rules I hope his wife has a nice job.

How exactly did you come across an article such as this? Do you google pilots in your free time and then judge them based on your resentment for your own shortcomings?

Caravans a beast. And this guys excited to fly it. Youre 'toolish' not only for searching for this kind of stuff, but more so for judging people that are excited about contributing to society.

Boom. That was the sound of me suplexing you from the top tip of your pedestal.

I give this guy credit, he didn't make up stories about flying F-16s and being a FDNY hero.
