The new Regionals
What the heck have we all come to? I think American Airlines has figured out that in order to move RJs, you need pilots. It seems they are very cognizant of this idea, and thus have extended a true flow program even for new hires at Envoy. I'm sure the other wholly-owned won't be too far behind.
Delta? Who knows what that amounts to. Seemingly to me, pretty soon every current qualified regional FO will be on American's books, and a less number at United's affiliates. I guess the military will have to recruit more aviators because the stench Delta is leaving among their regional "associates" will be difficult to wash off. If they don't move to save them now, I think 9E will be the first to say good bye to FOs. |

I just quit after 4 years of Envoy. Hired before Oct 11', I was barely a line holder, worked every weekend and pretty much EVERY HOLIDAY unless I bid reserve for those months. Management consistently violates the contract and continues to ask for deeper cuts in pilot pay and benefits. GOOD LUCK.
And no I didn't make a lateral move and am not going to be providing feed for AAG. |
