Per diem for a 4 day trip should be around $145 bucks. Run 6 of those in a month and you have another Grand or so in your paycheck.
Who wants to work 6, 4-day trips a month? If I wanted to work that much I'd go back to instructing.

Yeah that's 24 days in the month. Are you kidding me? I rather do 72hrs with 15 days off.

yes, you can sit on reserve and 'make' your 72 hours..

But you can't put them in your logbook and that is where you won't have it when it's time for an upgrade or Major move.

I'd rather break my back and take home 120+ credits for 96 hours flown!

You can always 'force' a 45 day paid vacation at the end of the year if you can blow 1,000 soon enough.

Sounds like a great way to burn yourself out and learn to hate your job/life.

You clearly never pulled a 90-100hr week!

You don't get paid to sit in reserve in the real world.

Wow. I used to own my own construction company. 100 hour weeks happened all the time. Who said anything about sitting on reserve? I'll gladly fly my 70 to 80 hours a month and take my 13 to 15 days off and enjoy time with my family. Talk to me next year and we'll see if you have the same opinion. You clearly don't have enough life experience to be offering me advice.

Sorry, RSV at envoy is 75hrs...I'm talking line holder. I already flew enough as a NH, now is time to enjoy QOL.
