How many are waiting for an AWAC class date?
 

How many people are in the pool waiting on AWAC? Any word on when the next class is, and how many from the pool will be in that class?

I'm waiting, last time I talked to Sara she said they were shooting for early Feb. I don't have any idea how many are in the pool, but she said that she didn't know if the class would be big enough for everyone.

I don't want to live in any of those places. The closest to someplace I want to live is Chicago, and it is about 600 miles from where I want to live.

Cuz some people want to make more than $19 an hour....and get paid more than 60hrs during training, and get a single occ hotel room, and have an actual contract, and not have to pay for their own Jepps.

Why don't you put the Koolaid down, walk away from your computer, and not worry about what we're doing. Some of us are not new to the industry and there are more important things to us than upgrade time.

Good point, that part really sucks. But waiting around months for a class date that keeps moving back? AWAC is probably a great place to work but sounds like things are pretty slow over there.

Do you folks really think two years from now, upgrade at Skywest will still be two years?

They make them pay for their own Jepps. That cant be true.. Is it?

They used to make them buy the original set. The company would then provide the updates. Now, the company pays for the Jepps.

I don't know when the rule changed though.
