Are you currently rewriting or have you recently rewritten your RSV rules? Long call, no longer exists after the Pinnacolaba bankruptcy. Short Call, 1:45 DTW,MSP. 2:00 for New York Ready, used often with little regard to reserve staffing numbers ( If there is a reserve that can be assigned it, it's assigned, yet is the last resort to be used, so if you live in base on reserve, and don't want to fly, Volunteer) Days off, 11, and be pleasantly surprised if you get more anytime soon. Order of assignment? Basically whatever works for scheduling to make things work. Pay for training on days off... technically doesn't happen, but in reality if you are senior that's exactly what happens, you lose a day off or two for recurrent. Reassignment, well as a reserve, you are the company ***** from 001 day one to 2359 last day. As a lineholder, you bid for a show time to start and estimated release time at the end of a trip. The level of jerking around in the middle varies. 4 hour min day. 117 limits are 30 minutes free extension for the company, after that just say no... the only penalty is what they might do to the rest of your schedule for the unplanned end to your day. But for lineholders pay is protected. Reserve... just budget for 75 hours and if you get more, put it in a retirement account. Commuting, just give yourself 2 viable flights arriving before show time. Picking up, very few restrictions as long as you aren't flipping between "normal and split duty" I think everything is basically 117 compliant except the deadhead on the back of flying reverts to old 14/15 hour duty day rules. basically, it is a regional... enjoy that $20,000 "retention" bonus but don't make the mistake of making it a career here. |
