Ok I had a hire date of 10/02 at XJT, I just checked the updated seniority (they are still hiring), I have 208 pilots beneath me, thats pretty good, so if anybody wants to come over, dont wait youll get some people underneath you real quick.

You're a retard, was that post really necessary?

Dont read it wrong. I just wonder how many FOs they have total.

Sorry, thought you were making a cynical comment.

Nah.. i dont sink to that level... Maybe i could have worded it different. Being 200 above new hire doesnt say much to me if i dont know how many FOs they have...

KiloAlpha 01-18-2007 07:17 PM

My educated guess is 1300-1400 FO's

I heard they are so short that captains are flying FO lines. I heard of a captain who did a full 3 day trip as an FO. Also I have a friend that has been there a year and just got juniormaned. When I was in class last week, they told us that they plan on hiring about 80 a month till june. Wow! I thought it would be hard finding my first jet job. I remember the first day in flight school when they asked us what kind of flying we would like to do and almost everyone said "anything I can get paid for" I'm going to try my best to remember this time when in a few years when we'll all be on the other side of this business cycle...
