Default RAH 175 options

Heard a rumor that RAH will not be executing any more of it's 50 options for the 175. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I thought those 50 jets were a solid commitment between RAH and United. I also thought that RAH is acquiring these jets, not leasing them.

The united birds are firm. I believe the company purchased additional options as part of the american deal. Its no shock at all they wont be exercising those.

July, with entry into service in August. Incidentally, S5 E170s being tranferred to YX at a rate of 2 per month starting in August.

Rumor

Step away from the rumor mill.

Options are just that. Options. Doesn't mean you will necessarily get them anytime soon.

As part of the 47 AA birds there were a number of options to bring the possible total to "over 100" if you remember the September 2012 announcement.

How? AA is scoped out. I think envoy can get 7 more if AAG doesn't reconfigure their CR7s.

We own all of our own airplanes. Unless AA buys those options from us, they are not theirs to give away.
