Airlines Offering ATP CTP Course Aug15
Hello Gents,
would like to brush up the present status of regionals which are offering the CTP Course and interviewing guys without the atp written.
And regarding those that don't provide it yet, if anyone has any insight of when they may be starting to.
So far i've read regarding, GoJet, TSA and SkyWest.
Any other ?
Regards

As far as interviewing I can't help you out with anyone but Mesa. They will "interview" you over the phone. And by interview I mean make sure you will meet ATP mins by start date, make sure you have a pulse, and make sure you can pass a background check. Not much else to it.

I remember everyone freaking out about taking the ATP written about a year ago, as if the world was going to end after the final date had passed. It took three months, and XJT had their course up and running. Now it seems you can take your pick if you didn't get it done. I'd actually be curious to see if anyone can share their experiences with this course. Sorry for the slight derail in advance but i'm sure it would be usefull information for the OP

SkyWest does for sure and the interview was the exact same as the other applicants that already had their writtens completed. its 7 days in a row and they are combined with XJT program but dates are filled and they are having trouble scheduling. I am in the process of waiting for my date. My class date is in October, but I will be taking the CTP a couple weeks before. Not 100% on detail of what they pay as far as hotel/travel.
Anyone have any details on how the course goes? is there any exams or just sit there and listen then fly the sim? I know the ATP written is afterwards and they do zero prep for the written.

CTP is easy. No home work you just sit and listen. Test at the end a monkey could pass. Sims are fun, but really the entire time you are studying on your own for the written.
Every airline offers some way to take the ATP written. If they don't, they won't get pilots.
