Pinnacle and Colgan

Alright, the sale is complete and pinnacle corp owns both of us. right now ALPA is fighting hard to protect the fact that our scope says that all flying must be done by our seniority list. Why should you care at colgan? If we merge the lists, we can't fight against each other and if something good happens at either airline, then we all benifit. RIght now, if Delta hands us 900's or if COntinental hands you Q400's, it does not benifit the other group. They might say they are going to keep all the props with you and jets with us, but if things go bad, whos to say they dont change that. Sure merging the lists would not be easy but it would benifit us in the long run. If I were at colgan right now, I would be trying to get ALPA on the property asap.
Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it

I hope colgan goes ALPA- thats the easiest/safest/ and most common sense play in my opinion. But its not quite "fair" to force the colgan crowd to join a union and give up 2%, but this action is more of an insurance policy in my opinion- between both pilot groups and management, who (management) can make colgan do whatever they want at this point. Merging lists would be fine down the line, but right now it would be hard to do- once again not "'fair". A union membership on their end would clear off most problems in my opinion.

merging lists?

that wouldn't happen

someone bring out the stapeler

i think it would be sweet if they went teamsters. to battling unions...this would create alpa from just taking control and a union to stick up for colgan guys...

teamsters aint that great...but yeah my two cents...

merging of the seniority lists is not an option...i would say colgan would be at the bottom

So will Colgan be pulled from the Airways system? Did hear they got a Q400 EwR contract for CAL not sure if its a definite but, interesting.

I really want us to go ALPA, but we'll see what happens.

And 2% at Colgan is a joke (for FOs at least).

Maybe I heard wrong, but wasn't Colgan suppose to get Saab 2000s for Continental some time ago? If so, what happened to that?
