AWAC TA Points
Here some of the stuff I saw:
• New Hire Pay: $26/hr during training, $29/hr after IOE. Beginning October 2016 $30/hr after IOE
•Reroute Pay (schedule changes due to MX or WX): Paid the grater of: Scheduled or actual on a leg by leg basis of actual flights flown; the original scheduled value of the day; or 1 hour of pay for every two 2 duty hours.”
•Retain 100% Deadhead; If deadheading on company aircraft then paid scheduled or actual if DH time is greater than scheduled.
•Extension Pay now 200%
•No loss of pay due to 117 rest requirements (if something cancels because of it)
•Day rooms must be identified by the company within 45mins of request. After that time crew can secure own hotel and be reimbursed
•Per Diem now $1.75, $1.95 intl.
•Retained that DH’s are on pax seat, not jumpseat
•Retained that DH’s can be released with pay (unless there is a reasonable reason not to)
Reserve rules:
•Full disclosure of Reserves will be made available (it will show numbers of reserves available, number of duty days remaining, etc.) No more denied drops due to ‘lack of rsv coverage’ bs I hope!!!
•Reserve times for next day assigned at 1600, including the day before starting a reserve window
•Short call reserve max 14hrs (availability)
•Created Long Call Reserve
•Reserve pilots not flying will be released (at the latest) at 2000 domicile time or 45 minutes prior to the last Company flight out of domicile, whichever is earlier on last day of Reserve
•Reserve trips for next day are assigned by 1500cst
•Guaranteed add if you pick up a trip while on reserve that begins on a day off (even if it carries you into reserve days)
Other Stuff
•No more commuter clause, just get to work in any way that you deem appropriate. If you miss no more than one trip every 6 months, you can re-join your original trip. (company will provide DH’s/poss. Space as needed.)
•Will not charge pilots more than what the company is charged for using the mainlines travel pass program
•Still 5% 401k match if you put 9% yourself
So mostly QOL retainments/gains, no pay raise (except for newhires). We do keep our annual 1.5% raise across the board every October from the current book.
Butttttttttt. No concessions. What a concept..............

Sounds like it helps a little when life sucks (1st year, reserve, extensions etc.) But I don't see much improvement for after year one. Still haven't received the email..

I'm sorry Billy, how does your company's pay rates and contract compare to ours? I think that if you voted in a worse contract, you really have no business poo poo'ing someone else's conract or saying that they are suckers...
