1900 TT. 1000 Multi Engine Jet (B707) only 150 ME Jet PIC - had surgery last year in squadron ate up all my AC time. 750 SE Turbine Instructor Time (T-6). Typed in BE400, B707. Am I wasting my time trying to get to the Majors? I think the Regionals will pick me up but I may be wrong. Thoughts? |

The regionals will pick you up in a heartbeat. Start applying to the majors after 6 months or 500 hours of 121 time, whichever comes first.

Do your homework for interview prep for the majors, get some professional interview prep assistance. |
If your most recent job that is non-flying covered the last five years like you say I believe that’s the only thing they would have to verify. My understanding is you have to give them 10 years of background but they’re only required to verify five. With how the regionals operate I doubt they would do extra work.
