ASA and LAX Base

Does anyone have any details on the new crew base that ASA has opened in LAX. Are any new hires holding this base? Futrue growth plans, etc?

Any info on training details at ASA, i.e. total length of time it takes, location of housing, pay during training and approx. amount of flight time while on reserve. Thanks.

same question. Any plans coming soon to expand the LAX base? Any chance of getting it as a new hire?

hey guys, I have a buddy over there that just started new hire class yesterday (monday). I asked him the same question a few days ago and he said he would get back to me about it when he found out.... moral of the story- I will let you know what I hear, i figure thats probrably the best source at this point. I am just curious myself about LAX on first year FO pay... thats gotta be rough on the wallet

I had a friend start on the Dec 11th 2006 class and she as well as most of her class were given LAX, however most of them bid out before the end of training.
