I'm trying on my sTanDaRd iSsUe (mandatory pay deduction) Crew Outfitters "Cool Silver Fitted Shirt" and it feels like the finest single-ply toilet paper found only at a truck stop

Well said. Not sure why airlines boot lick crew outfitters so much. Terrible quality and they are stuck in the 90s.

Default A Cut Above -- Not so much anymore

I have been a loyal customer of ACA for at least the last 7 years or so, but the last set of shirts I bought (and waited 2 months to get,) were torn near the pocket after a single use. The material quality and durability seems to have slipped. I am bummed, but I am looking for alternatives to the tropo that fit me. Anybody have any recommendations?

You know, the Crew Outfitters Platinum series is awesome. I hated all their other stuff but when I used my allotment for them, I was pleasantly surprised. I'd buy them again.

Everything crew outfitters makes fits like a trash bag. That company is stuck in the 90s.

I’ve never bought from ACA because every single time I’ve contacted them or been on their website for the past year and a half, there’s like a 3-4 month backorder. Screw that.

Bought a couple of Crew Outfitter Platinum shirts recently and pretty satisfied with them. I need to get the waist taken in on them but they seem pretty durable and clean up well.

Normally you're right. I tossed everything else from them.. I like the way the platinums fit better than my ACA..

I am concerned with the fit. I'm pretty skinny and have enjoyed the fit of the ACA fitted tropo off the rack. Even the picture on the Crew Outfitters website for the platinum looks puffy at the waist.

Unless you’re built like a pumpkin, CrewOutfitters is gonna make you look like a 10 year old wearing a bed sheet.

ACA used to make real quality stuff. Covid screwed that up. Not only is everything back ordered, but the quality has gone downhill big time.

Maybe Van Huesen pilot shirts?
