I bought 2 Cut Above tropo shirts and 2 Jetseam slim shirts.
I love both. Hard to decide which I prefer.
The Cut Above tropo are more stretchy but also weigh more.
The Jetseam have some strech but not as much, yet they weigh considerably less.
Nothing noticeable while wearing, just when held in hand. The real test will come in the hot summer.

Thanks for the input. I’ll cross that one off my list. A friend of mine says just to get a Van Heusen to work until Cut Above comes through. A Cut Above definitely is not as good of quality as they were before they subbed it out to China, but they are still pretty darn good..

Pilotshirts.com have been my go to for a long time. They have an excellent taper for skinny people and a full cut for those who need some extra breathing room. Sadly they are made in Canada which is higher quality than Asia in general but locked down for so long they are backordered over 6 months.

I'm not an airline pilot yet so I never wore the uniform. But I have two questions about it.
How do you guys prevent the shirt and pants from getting wrinkled??do you just iron them every single day? Does the company pay for the ironing/washing? Do you do it yourself, or take it to a store to do it.
Also about the coat, how do you prevent lint from getting on it, since it seems prone to that. Just lint roller on it everytime?

Switched to the Jetseam slim cut and haven't looked back. Only complaint is that the sleeves tend to hold wrinkles a little more that 'd like, but the shirt irons pretty well and the material is lightweight and does well in hot and humid climates. The most important part of the uniform is the undershirt IMO. With the proper fitting undershirt, your uniform shirt will stay tucked in.
