Clarity Aloft Pro

Does anyone own this headset? Just looking for some reviews and didn't see too many when I searched online.

I want a headset that is small enough to put in my bag, and can't afford Bose. Also has to be TSO approved, any recommendations let me know! Looking for a pair that will last me awhile, but won't take up room

I have one. Great headset, not as good as the QT Halo, but the Halo isn't TSO. I've sent it for repair once. Company was fantastic about it. You can buy and try for 30 days and send it back for a full refund if you don't like it. I doubt you'll send it back.

I have the original Clarity Aloft and love it. Works great with sunglasses. It is definitely starting to show its age though and may be going in for repair in the not too distant future.

It's the best headset I've owned for work. Low profile, light weight and comfortable. And it doesn't mess up the hair :D

i own the non TSO version. it works great I've used in in GA flying as well as the CRJ. once you switch to the clarity you can't go back to an over the ear headset. These headsets can be fragile. One of the wires frayed that connects to the earbuds due to improper insertion to the ear. Clarity aloft sent me a brand new replacement. I love my Clarity and their customer service.

+100,000 votes for clarity aloft. I've used mine flying 10+ hours of survey in a 172, flying King Airs, and now the CRJ. I absolutely love it.

I was happy to get that crappy Telex 850 off my head and tried the CA Pro in the Boeing. Liked it so much I use it instead of my Lightspeed in the 210 too.

I did send it back after a year for warranty repair and they sent me a new headset instead.

Thanks for the reviews guys. One thing I did see on a few reviews was the ear buds hurt your ears if you're flying for awhile- that would suck if you have to fly 4-5 legs so I guess that's my biggest concern. Any issues with that?

Again thanks...or should I save a little longer and just go for the Bose...

Sometimes the plugs could get a little bothersome.

But what got to me more was the over ear pieces gigging into my ears on longer legs.

Other than that, it's waaaay better than a standard DC. And like the other dude said, doenst mess up your hair.

I've heard good things about the quiet technologies as well, although I don't believe it's TSO'd.

Owned the QT Halo and the Clarity Aloft Pro. The QT has more comfort than the CA Pro, but the CA Pro seems better built. CA Pro hurt my ears.

Ater probably 6+ months in each headset, I've gone back to my Bose A20s... they are not as light and ruin your hair, but they are so much more quiet and clear than the earbud options.
