I dont understand why you guys are mocking this guy. If he doesnt know he doesnt know. You guys are so arragant and think everyone is supposed to know what you know. All kinds of people visit this board. Not just people already in the field. Some people want to get into the airline industry and use this forum as a means to get info .

You guys that mock them are not very welcoming at all, and make it appear to be some elitest club and if a guy doesnt already know the industry he shouldnt ask questions. This is his way of doing research. Asking people who are suposed to know and you all bash him.
Just lone I didnt understand the whole bid a line thing and peole mocked me. How do I learn it if Iget mocked for it?

What's wrong with this? I wasn't trying to make fun of him, just explain what United Express flying was.

According to United's website(which for all I know, assume it's United's website, not the regional united express), Skywest operates their flights. But, I've seen United's airplanes (which are supposedly operated by Skywest) in United's paint scheme. Any info?
What about their hiring requiremens? Is all that done through Skywest?

There are many regional airline's that fly under the united airlines banner and hence the express portion is added at the end. They main flights feed into the 3 united hubs from cities where the mainline does not fly into or small communities. FYI.. If you do decide to go to apply to Gojet just don't let us know!!! Good luck.

k, i got a good laugh out of it at his expense. It's friday, you ain't got no job, you ain't got sh*t to do...... lol. Here's the scoop on Uni-ted express, and Explus! As said before, it's flown by several regional airlines that feed the hubs from the smaller cities. Lets see, Colgan, Mesa, Gojet, Trans States, all 3 Republic companies and Skywest make up United Express. I think Great Lakes also feeds United Express, but it's been a while since I was out in Denver.

My good deed for the day.
