Victory for TSA!!!

It seems that for once the system worked... Two dangerous and incompetent crew members (A.B. and P.H.) have been pulled from the line. After numerous reports from concerned crew members and some last minute line checks, both crew members were put on ice. My only question is how did these two get released to the line in the first place? P.H. was absolutely terrifying in the cockpit and A.B. shouldn't be trusted to lock the doors up at Burger King. I hope this action by TSA sends a message to similar pilots industry wide. Some people have absolutely no business being in a cockpit. :D

Is this confirmed? If so, I'm glad to hear AB is gone. My jumpseat privileges will remain intact for another day :)

WesternSkies 12-08-2015 12:16 PM

Huh?
Ghghh

According to the rumor mill she is no longer employed here.

HuskerAv8tor 12-08-2015 12:59 PM

I think there was enough pilots that came here from other companies who flew with these two and realized the insanity of having them sit left seat.

Dude, it didn't take previous 121 experience to know they didn't belong in the left seat (or quite frankly the right seat). It became apparent after the first couple legs.

Agree with you but, from what I've heard, it was this group that spoke up.

Who's PH btw? Doesn't ring a bell.

ShyGuy 12-08-2015 01:40 PM

Can someone give examples? What happened?

Example: line of T storms popping up west of Houston and moving towards the airport. The current TAF doesn't yet reflect this; however, one look at the radar does. We have no extra fuel (besides reserve) and no precautionary alternate. You make her aware of the situation and she gets nasty with you. The flight deck is now poisonous and the captain is incompetent. She wants to blast off with no plan B and unwilling to listen to any input. There is no 'big picture' with her. No 'out of the box' thinking. If it's not written in black and white right in front of her, she won't get it. This is just one example. I won't even go into her flying ability or landings.

Coneydog 12-08-2015 02:01 PM

At least PH was nice and from what I heard, she was willing to take input and help from her FO's. AB was as unfriendly and awkward as they come. She listened to no one and was driven by her insecurities.

That is, IMO, the worst kind of pilot. We don't operate in a black and white environment, we gotta use some common sense and be flexible.

Nah. RAH knows better. They will be in class at Mesa soon.

Precisely what makes her dangerous. Among other things.

RJ Pilot 12-08-2015 02:54 PM

Both are "she"? I see a common denominator here.

Good Luck!

Agreed. Glad some company finally said we don't care about a lawsuit. You suck and now you are gone. How did you do it? I have a list of people that should be gone also.

ILOVELAMP 12-08-2015 07:59 PM

Pro standard calls and I AM CONCERNED reports.

AB, the same female CA that was denying jump seats a while back out of personal preference?

OK, we're done here.

Right actions: Pro-Standards, Chief Pilot, FAA.

Wrong actions: personal names and identity clues, company bashing, fodder for the media to exploit for sensationalist headlines or lawsuits.
