For those looking at Republic, just look at the history of Expressjet (XJT) and Mesa around the 2008-2009 timeframe. The stock is tanking for a reason. Don't be shocked to get shocked if you go there expecting a smooth sailing and it doesn't happen.
As for the Mesa recovery since then, they were able to pull it off since the major hiring wasn't in full swing yet. Now that it is, Mesa will even struggle to continue their staffing levels unless they up their compensation levels drastically. As someone with no ties to Endeavor and Envoy, that is where I would be looking at right now. |

2. Those were 2 guys with enough 121 when they got hired, and current eligible FOs are holding out for 175 CA, from what I have gleaned.
