Regions in trouble?

Hey guys, I have no idea if there is any truth to it, but I heard that Regions Air was possibly closing shop...Didn't see any other threads so I have to throw the bs flag on the rumor but thought I would ask. Hope this isn't the case. Info?:(

That wouldn't surprise me at all. I occasionaly jumpseat on them from STL to MWA to see my parents and more often than not the flight is cancelled, also i'm not sure if the gate agents are Regions employees, but they are just about one notch above useless. I would feel terrible for the pilots though. All the crews that have worked the flights have been great... it would be a shame if they lost their jobs.

Almost, everytime I am in CLE I see the saab with some maintenance trucks around it looking up into ldg gear or something.

I've gotta friend who's an fo there about to upgrade. He's says they are constantly worried about getting the ax.

heard the same from my buddy who works there. Said they'll probably tank soon, and he's also close to upgrade. Did mention he wasn't overly worried about it as the company is kinda crap, and many many regionals are hiring, however, dropping to the bottom of a senority list before getting any PIC would be a bit of a downer.
