You get a parking pass for the terminal 2 parking ramp, just take the light rail to terminal 1, it's free between terminals.

I've been told you can't leave your car in the ramp for more than 10 days at a time or they will charge you but I've never tested it. Commuters beware...

Well? May as well place that info sooner rather than later so you can say "refer to page 3".

Now the questions on every page will be.

We all have a lot to look forward to with the new SkyWest thread so that each of these questions will be asked on every page for the next 15,348 pages. Wohooo
Well let's get it out of the way then...

What is 1st year pay?

Just raised to $36.50...sign on bonus for typed people as well.

What base will I get?
CRJ - ORD/MSP.
ERJ - ORD, may be able to sneak into west coast as the base opens, doomed afterwards

What plane should I choose?
Right now with traditionally senior bases opening on the 175 a lot of those slots will go to transitions. Right now I would recommend choosing the CRJ, the 175 is extremely overstaffed in ORD (junior base), if you want to fly, the CRJ is for you.

While I would still recommend new hires go to the CRJ, I don't think this trend will continue with 45 airframes coming online in the next 18 months.

True but those frames are going to senior bases only question is the DL frames and I'm thinking LAX and SLC/SEA

Junior guys in SEA and PDX were hired in May and July of last year. I just don't think there are that many more people who are looking for a NW base. PDX could see as many as 70-80 crews on the ERJ by the end of the year.

The RAH BK is gonna make this summer look like a slave labor camp. SKYW has been picking up flying like a politician picks up hookers. The pain is coming. Prepare for reflows that will make your eyes bleed.....
CRJ will be the best airframe for newhires, the ER7 is going more senior by the day, and will continue. Senior SKYW guys are wary of anything new, for good reason, past experience! Just because you can get into a senior base, doesn't mean that's gonna be the best for your QOL. Reserve is a special kind of he11 that only a true masochist would savor.

Read post #29, just because you can get in, doesn't mean you want to get in. SKYW reserve will make you regret ever learning to fly.
P.S The choice of airframes will lie with the company.
