Regionals - class no-shows

If you were hired BY A REGIONAL in the last 6 months or less, did you have any no-shows in your class?

If so, who were you hired by, what was your class date, and how many people did not show up?

Trying to spot trends are where they are taking place. Thanks.

I think it would be a safe bet that every regional has at least one or two no-shows a month. Minimum. Some more than others.

You're not going to get any useful data here.

Over 6 months ago, but we only had 4 no shows out of 50, but they deferred to a later class so not really no shows.

Horizon usually has classes of 10, only 2 showed up to the last one.

Psa is getting 5 or less per class since January.

I think compass and skywest are getting the lion's share of new hires, maybe endeavor as well. Mere drops in the bucket for everyone else. Mesa's poaching efforts are laughable . No pilot shortage as far as I can tell, just consistent hiring .

What percentage are lateral moves vs 1500hr newbies?

I don't have any real insight into the recent classes, but here's the breakdown of my class from this summer:

1 AF (leaving next month for LCC)
1 Army helo
1 guy who hasn't flown in 12 years (washed out)
5 135 Cargo/Pax Captains
1 came over from PSA (lives in Mesa domicile)
2 135/91 turbine SIC
2 1500 hour CFI
1 737 Captain from Africa with 1000's of hours
