Republic question...After initial training, are new hires typed in 170/175 and E190 ? or just E170/175...

As the previous poster stated, common type. The type rating will say "ERJ-170; ERJ-190". The E175 is actually just marketing-speak an E170 variant. In the eyes of the FAA, they are just the 170-100 and the 170-200. Same for the 190/195
