I highly doubt that. At the regionals you can expect less than half that starting out, at the major's, yes. I'd advise her to call some dispatcher schools and ask questions. Also, she can go on the open forums of some the airline pilot websites and simply ask. Dispatchers read those forums.

Had a buddy from sims that didn't make it through that applied over to the operations department. They offered 60k so...

Don't some airlines have some sort of program where they have one or two dispatchers overseeing a group of non-certified dispatchers? The real dispatchers just sign off on the $10 /hour non-dispatchers' work.

i think our dispatchers are closer to 30000 per year. i used to teach a dispatcher at a college. pm me if youre interested in details but typically dispatchers start around 30000. at delta i think they start around 50-60. you can also go to the railroads. they love hiring hiring people with an faa dispatcher cert. sometimes right out of school. ive heard they start around 60000 , but also heard many dont like that job. traing for 6-12 week course is around 5-6 grand. less if you have atp written already

No. Compass operates a completely separate SOC from their headquarters in MSP.
