DTW Hotels
 

Any recommendations for a hotel in DTW ? Just commuting in for an early report for a out of base open time pick up. Is it possible to find something in the 50-60 range? I'm not familiar with DTW.

Howard Johnson was the cheapest for me about a year and a half ago. Was about $35 out the door. Not that nice, but it worked for me.

I heard the Clarion gives airline discounts.

Clarion, La Quinta and America's Best Value are all about $45/night and treat crews great. Sheraton is $59/night for the big spenders but call early since they have limited rooms available at the crew rate.

+1 for the Clarion. . my primary. $45 out the door. Bar/Restaurant on site. Snappy shuttle. Convenience store about 50' out the door. Has everything I need/want in a commuter hotel.
