Phase II cockpit door?

Does anyone know what the different classifications for cockpit doors are? Specifically phase II? I was filling out the app for an FFDO and it asks "Do you currently fly an aircraft with a Phase II (hardened) cockpit door?"

Pretty sure that's any current FAR 121 airplane with a flight attendant (at least 20 seats) but a search on the Federal Aviation Administration website would probably be worth more than my guess

If you don't know that answer, you probably don't fly for a 121 airline.

I'm sure if you were flying 121 before they made the switch, you'd know it well. For anyone coming into the 121 world after it was made standard, it's a little foot note

Do regional airlines no longer teach systems? I'm pretty sure A/C doors, windows, and exits are required knowledge.

I could be wrong.... Perhaps things have changed.

Of course, but some things are anal and not required to know to do the job. If phase 2 doors are standard, and theres no aircraft without phase 2 doors, then why do you need to know they are phase 2 doors? The name itself describes a process that will end with standardization across the entire fleet.
Do you know how to use a sextant to navigate by the stars? No? Dont they teach pilots navigation anymore?

I have to admit I had no clue what the technical term for the door is. I can't even find a reference to it in our systems manual. I know it's reinforced...that's enough for me.

Youre not the only one. We must not be airline pilots if we dont know about phase 2 doors though.. hah.

You're not a real airline pilot until you've been through two furloughs, a bankruptcy and at least one divorce. No matter what type of flight deck door your aircraft has...

Thanks all. Other than the requirement to lock it prior to departure, we didn't cover anything about what type of door it is, nor would I expect anyone to. I know after 911 they needed to be reinforced but I have no clue on the different classifications. Some have access pads, so I was thinking that might be part of the different classes of doors.
