That, too, is a great point. Never thought I'd say this but such wisdom on these boards!

Have you ever been to Hong Kong? I'd suggest you also stop thinking like a regional pilot.

It's the principle (I get it)
50 bucks a month is stopping you from advancing your career ? Really? Once you move on and start earning the salary you deserve, that 50 bucks shouldn't be an issue. Just my $0.02

It wouldn't at another carrier but with Mesa it's a different story.

I decided to use the expense report offered on flica, has anyone else used it? Any idea on when I can expect it to be delivered...it says the middle of Feb?

IDK, but unless you have a mortgage, I doubt you'll be able to claim the expenses as deductions. And don't fall for the trap of them saying you can claim your van driver tips, if you do itemize.

I just got mine this week. It usually takes about three weeks or so.

Folks considering Mesa, don't let Marcia Kolologretzyeyk tell you DFW is an option. It's closing once Envoy gets the next 11 175's. Have one of the Mesa guys on here tell you about the email they got asking to take a vote on the next Mesa domicile.

Dude just stop.

1. DFW is NOT closing.
2. I'm a Mesa guy and I can tell you every single one of the cities mentioned in the poll is a maintenance base for the respective aircraft. There are significant overnight aircraft in each of those cities and the company is looking at the INTEREST in having a secondary base outside of the hub.

THAT IS ALL IT IS.

Now, there are many many other reasons to cite as to why to come here or not come here. But at least stick to the facts and stop making crap up.
