Default Mesa 3.0

The other thread has too many issues with page counts being wrong, and having to refresh the page.
Lets use this new thread.
Been hearing some interesting rumors lately, from wild pipe dreams to more airplanes. I have a feeling though, any new announcements of more airplanes will not be enough to fill classes. This place must raise first year pay and offer retention bonuses at a minimum.

Please share your rumors, fantastical and absurd though they may be. There've hardly been any posts in the other thread lately, so anything would be interesting now. I'd also like to be the first to christen this thread with a few select key terms. Ahem...

Pipe dream: United is buying Mesa.
Airplanes: 10 more e-jets, and a few more CRJ's.
Just on so many levels, United buying Mesa? What about AA, and the CRJ fleet? Take all the CRJ pilots and train them on E-Jets? Furlough the jr people? Not in this day and age, where pilot retention is everything. United's scope clause to name another...
Yeh, even being wholy owned with a 5 year flow to United wouldn't keep me here without a massive pay raise and drastic QOL improvements that compare to say a Spirit type contract.

Nope. We have a referral bonus where you get $10,000 if your buddy passes his checkride, gets through IOE and stays online for 6 months or a year, I forget which.

Not in the traditional sense, but they do give new hire pilots some more money during training. The recruiters would be able to answer those questions.

I posted this on the other page. Still relevant.
First off I am not trying to compare Delta to Mesa. What I'd like to get across is that we have been negotiating a contract for how long? How many informational pickets has our pilot group had? Do you even care?
If you want change you yourself might have to get involved!

Delta Pilots To Hold ?Informational? Picketing On Friday « WCCO | CBS Minnesota
Quote from the article below
"The pilot union says over 15 months of negotiations have passed and Delta pilots are still waiting on a new agreement – and five months have passed since the contract’s amendable date."
