As long as JO heads up Mesa.... it will always be the worst regional to work for in the industry. It has been that way for well over a decade.

I can say Envoy's (or Eagle when I was there) training SUCKS, and ExpressJet's is top notch. The instructors at Envoy were piissed off, unorganized, didn't give a damn, and liked to yell in the sim.
ExpressJet was the exact and full opposite. Those guys were happy to help, know their stuff, organized, made sure we were feeling comfortable with the pace, and didn't yell in the sim. With that being said..they didn't spoon feed us either. It was fast/furious, and you better study. They know right away who studies and needs a little extra help versus the ones who didn't do anything but drink after class. The ones who studied and needed extra help had no issues.

Ya, let's go ahead and compare what the department was like several years ago...

Envoy has had high 90s percentage for success in new hires during training.

I hope for the sake of the new hires they majorly improved their attitude around the training dept. It was the attitude of "we don't want you here and you're career doesn't mean jack ssshhhiiiiiittttttt to us".
