Regional Advice

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some honest, "constructive" advice in regard to a few regional carriers. I'm currently living in Miami, FL and was considering a few regionals to fly at. See list below.

If anything, I'd like to be based somewhere in California as I have a few buddies in LA although I will have to, once in a while, commute to MIA to see family and stuff.

Anyone commuting from MIA to LAX? I'd love to hear how doable it is.

I'd sure appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thank you much!

Here they are:

  • Compass
  • SkyWest
  • Republic
  • Endeavor
  • Piedmont (just because of the supposed "flow" to American)
P.S. I'm NOT interested in hearing who's got the bigger pecker due to the airline they fly for. Just want to know pros and cons of said carriers.

Does anyone read through before posting anymore? Every two days there is one of these new threads asking for the same...

To the OP: There are specific threads for every single one of your choices, which if you read, will get you the info you are asking for. Now if you expect for others to do your homework for you...well, then you have bigger problems in life than anyone on here can solve.

Now, asking about the MIA-LAX commute, that's a reasonable question.
