Yes. Do they still require old hires (ie upgrades) to enter a new contract when they do training or is it just new-hires?

If you upgrade and switch planes yes.

Frontier has one. Although I'm sure most that go to fly for these companies do so with the thought that they won't be leaving within a year or two.

Most are promissory notes with the employer playing the role of a bank. It's even harder to break those types of agreements
