Airport Standby Pay at your airline

Just curious what you all receive for pay at your airline for an airport standby shift? Standby shifts at my airline are 8.00 hrs long if you cover the entire shift yet you are only credited 3.9 hrs for the assignment assuming you do no flying and that is only calculated for the purpose of calculating hours flown, not pay purpose. If you bid a standby line for the whole month, you only credit 75.00 hours of pay despite sitting available at the airport for 8.00 hours a day 4-5x a week if you don't get used. Are there any regionals out there doing away with ready reserve? I know most majors and lcc's don't have it as far as I know.

At TSA, 8 hour airport reserve is 5 hours credit or what you fly, whichever is greater. If you show up for one minute of airport reserve and then get called out, no less than 5. Now, whether they actually pay you for it is an entirely different conversation.

At Xjet it's 4 hours, paid for all 4 hours. If you get assigned something it's the value of how long you sat plus the value of the assignment. Spend 2 hours then get assigned a turn worth 3 hours, you're paid 5 hours for that day.

Commutair
8 hours for 4 hours of pay. Can assign a trip that keeps you inside your 14 hr duty limit.
95% of reserve is airport reserve.

Horizon 10 hours, paid 5.

Endeavor is doing a trial on eliminating ready reserve on the JFK900 side. Depending on results we could see further changes and hopefully reduced amount of ready reserve company-wide.

RR is 8 hours with 4 hours pay.

Wow that's crazy at Skywest it usually s a hour or two tagged onto the end of a trip and rarely they do a 6 hours but def not the norm on reserve.

Skywest pays half I believe or what you fly whichever is greater

8 hours of work for 4 hours of pay. And to think at some point actual people accepted this concept into reality. Sigh.

Sorry I mistyped. 8 hours for 5 hours of pay at TSA
