Every crj that leaves means roughly 9- 10 pilots go somewhere, let's say 2 upgrade, 3-4 are captain, that means 5-6 guys are moving over to right seat of emj and 175. The company knows you won't leave. Remember also, it's not just the crj leaving.
In the end, this will show to be why the company wanted 12-4 cap. Shouldn't believe recruiters.

these envoy threads are so frustrating, i should just say thanks but no thanks on my conditional offer and go interview at republic or something because I honestly have no clue who to believe. It sounds like no end in sight to all the misery going on. Cr700 and dacuj can feel free to not reply because I least of all believe them.

It's not the end of the world here but things need to change dramatically.
- Crjs gone
- Emj leaving slowly
- Schedules are bad, facts show that.
- just about every line pays 75ish, so it's better to be a senior reserve pilot
- Qol is rough here
- Reserves are being beaten into the ground, - just take a look at the group in the terminal, we look like zombies
If you don't care about flow, then choose anywhere but AA WO'S. Every other company is hiring AA is the only one doing flow.
Do you arrive to be the best or just number 4, because if you come here and eventually flow, you're only flowing to the bottom big carrier. Republic has much better Qol and Schedules. The fact that you listen to dacuj and cr700 means you belong here, look on every forum and talk to any envoy pilot, they will all say the same here, it's rough. It's not over sour grapes either, all of us understand things change, just things keep changing for the worst here.

lol thats why i don't want them to chime in, so I can maybe hear some shred of hope. I wanna stay in DFW, but if I gotta move back to the east coast in the interest of having some sort of life, I guess i'll do that.

DFW should be fine, 175 and emj there. I agree with you on those 2 tool bags, if they didn't come on here and fill space with lies all the time(ever) then the thread would be a normal conversation just like every other thread. Every airline has its problems, just we all get enraged when those 2 post lies, and when we tell how it is, they start to get mad and threaten, and say it's just a select few(same way management runs the company).

Any regional is a stepping stone in my eyes. Just trying to make the right choice and not sit at envoy for a decade waiting on the flow which may or may not happen. I wouldn't be jumping on board until potentially may-august, so i'm hoping that things will improve somewhat in regards to schedule and JM'ing. If upgrades times are sitting at 2.5 thats fine. Plenty of competition, lot of tough choices and no reason to settle. Hopefully things get better while I wait to reach 1500hrs.

Other than that, it should be a back pocket insurance. At the end a regional is a regional, if you get into a WO just thinking to sit there until flow, you're doing it wrong.
