Are we dual seat qualifying Captains now? I thought it was removed from the contract.

I believe that has changed recently. We did a dual qual in the sim the other day. My sim partner was going through long term upgrade. I had to sit left seat while he he did the approaches, takeoffs, etc.

I should have specified in my last post that we did the dual qual in the 145. I think it changed in the middle of December.

They are starting to right seat qual the captains on the 145.

I gues that is legit then. For some reason Ithought they eliminated the ability to do that in the bankruptcy contract

I just did my qualified upgrade PC and was told that our FO quals will be left intact. No extra training now, but I believe you will be required to do a V1 cut, single-engine ILS, and 2 CAT II ILS approaches (1 to a landing and another with a go-around) from the right seat during recurrent AQP.
V1 ROT8 is online now
