Carry on luggage
As a new hire do we need to buy a specific brand of carry on luggage or does company provide anything ?
I need one to fly to Dallas for training so I am thinking I can buy one now that I can use later when I start flying.
Any suggestions ?

No brand requirements and the company doesn't provide anything. Highly recommend Luggageworks. Yes, they are pricey but they'll last forever. If you take a stroll through the terminal, you'll notice the vast majority of pilots are rolling around these bags. They are quality. Look at the Stealth NG 22" at stopoverstore online. You want the aluminum frame and not the plastic.

Go to Costco and get a bag or just the travel pro basic black bag. I've had mine over 3 years (travel pro) and it's never had an issue. People will say that these cheaper bags will fall apart fast but as long as your not tossing it around everywhere it's fine. Nothing wrong with the "pilot" bags but I've never had a time where I wished I had one vs my cheap one.
