$37.90 X 75 X 12 = $34,110
Bonus of $22,100 (not $21,100) is for legacy planes. Goes down $5,000 for SJS. So $56,210 if one doesn't mind flying the older birds, $51,210 if one wants the E175. Add another $5K for per diem... $61,210 max, or $56,210. But will a person on RSV really fly enough to make that much per diem? I didn't last year, and I held a line all year. YMMV My point to all this glorified salary baiting for new hires is that while it may be achievable, it is not what one will make with min guarantee. Using EDV's $57K min guarantee and adding the $5K for per diem takes it to $62,000, still leading the industry. But I feel that is a bit misleading. Open time is always a wild card, as not everyone can take advantage of it regularly. But for sure, making $56-57K is possible min guarantee. More if one wishes to work more.

Envoy does not use 1000 hours to calculate the first year pay. We use 75 hours a month (reserve guarantee), the $21,200.00 sign on bonus, and an average amount of per diem for the year($5,000) It's also using 0 overtime.
And it's not $60,000, it's $62,100 for first year pay. |
This just won you the internets. For two days. Good job!

There is no "best contract" in the regionals. A better way to ask would be, which regional contract sucks the least?
