Ok the rjet cheerleading is a little much. Let's remember a few important things. If being a regional lifer is your goal then go wherever fits you best. But for most the goal is mainline ie the big 3. Now you would prefer to get in on the hiring wave as early as possible for obvious reasons. Now the flow could be slowed down at the AA WO but I think it's better than getting in line with an OTS application. Your fourth option with Endeavor gives you about a 65% shot at DL. I also believe with C5 you have a guaranteed shot at UA. I would forget about all other regionals if you want the best possible overall career outlook.

Ok sorry but im not quite understanding your post , newbie here. What is C5? Regional is not my goal, I want somewhere I can work though where I will be happy and have a decent QOL for the next 3-4 years.

Every Airline has a Two-letter IATA and three-letter ICAO code.

American is for example, AAL for ICAO and AA for IATA.

Republic is YX (formerly RW) and RPA

C5 is CommutAir's Code.

sflpilot:

This is a Republic thread, What did you expect?

The Flows have not turned out to be the the best thing for someone starting today. At best one is looking at 5-9 years before they could flow.

AA through their WO are the only ones with a flow. Everyone else seems to have an agreement of one kind or another.

At Endeavor if you interview outside of your DGI and fail the DL interview, you do not get the DGI when that date comes up (2nd shot).

Something may be better than nothing, yet some times having something can work against you.

Good luck with all your expectations.

I know a couple will answer what questions we can about Republic, yet things change.

One of my classmates may have been able to bid out or swapped initial bases and we haven't finished our first week yet!

Things change constantly.

This just got even funnier after today

I have gone and accepted a position with Air Wisconsin. I wanted to thank you all for the input.

The bonus along with having a Chicago base and short upgrade time is just a no brainer for me. Although it's killing me to pass up flying the ERJ, I think il survive goood luck to all!

Good choice.. besides, the embryo jet is not all that. The 200 is not a good climber but other than that, its a fun airplane to fly.. good luck in training.. ps: having worked for 6 airlines, air wiskey is the one i miss the most.. you will have a good time there before you head to united..
