They don't count the hours in the sim. Only the 6 hours you get at CTP. You need 44 hours multi to start.

There are people in my class that were told to come in at 50, as well as people who were told to come in at 25. So they must have different criteria like the previous posts mentioned.
But again, those with 25 were told to get their 50 before the sims because they are trying to get the oral out of the way. So wouldn't be surprised if everyone is required to have 44 before ATPCTP.

I know this thread is old, but I didn’t want to make a new one. Was wondering if you have to have RAH pay for your last few hours, does it come out of your bonus?
Heard that it doesn’t, but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks

Instrument Time
I have an interview next month and when talking to the recruiter about instrument time (says 100 hrs. on the website) he said you need 100 for the ATP requirements. However, the requirements are only 75 hrs. instrument for the ATP. Anybody have any insight on this requirement?

Yeah, I understand that is what is listed as minimums just wondering why the 100 if that's not what is required for ATP, and if there are any exceptions. I have over 300 hrs dual given as CFII, 6 instrument sign offs and a CFII sign off with 100% pass rate. I would think that would be better experience than the 18 hours of instrument time I'm missing!

Employer can set any minimums they want. Here are the NetJets minimums to be a FO and fly right seat in a Gulfstream:
Minimums:
Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine Land)
Current FAA First Class Medical certificate
2500 hours total pilot time
500 hours fixed wing multi-engine time
250 hours instrument time (actual or simulated in flight - excludes simulator time)
NetJets pilot job page.
