Submitted application to pilot prep program

I submitted my application for the pilot prep program yesterday. What can I expect now?

You should hear back in a few weeks. I am a member of PilotPrep as well, and so far it is a great experience. Interview was mostly IFR procedures, and HR.
Best of Luck!

Sweet! At about how many hours were you at when they did the interview? And did they give you some type of CJO? I figure there really isn’t anything to lose with signing up for a program like this.

I was right at around 260. I just had gotten my Commercial Multi add-on.
Yes- they do give you a CJO and it does not expire (within reason). For example, I am 18 (almost 19) and they understand it will be about 2 more years for me. They don't require you to sign a contract so if you find something better than they understand, as well...
You are right, all good stuff! They also plan events in IND that they will invite you up to and will put you up in hotel/flight! Cool stuff!

Good deal. I am sitting at about 270 and working on CFI. Hopefully will be taking that checkride in the next couple weeks then I will be working on the multi add on.

Awesome! Good luck to you on that checkride. I just did mine a week ago. Best of luck, its a big checkride but definitely do-able.

I applied in early December and still haven’t heard back yet. Hopefully they get back to us soon!

Have you talked to one of the “Talent Acquisition representatives” to see if they can shed some light on you application status?

I sent a follow up email with no luck yet. I’ll give them another week or so before reaching out again.

Is this program more like Air Wisconsin with travel benefits and increased seniority, or like Skywest with just increased seniority?

All times are GMT -8. The time now is 10:13 AM.
