I respectfully disagree with you. I grew up in KC. Good for raising families. Power and Light district good for singles life.
It is not NYC. Most majors keep having openings for newbies; FO keep transferring out as soon as they can. Why? Because as you would say, for those not from the Big Apple, “it is too expensive and it stucks as a place to live.” Others will disagree. To each his or her own.

Yes. Different people want different things. None of the big 4 have any bases that I would want to live in, even a little. But I love Indy. It’s more my speed. Some people hate it, I guess. Who cares?
