Default Republic/Shuttle America Staffing Prob?

Adding up 4/3/2 and single day trips, there are currently 285 days of open time flying available for FO's with Shuttle America. The staffing issue becoming painfully clear to the company?

We restart negotiations next week. 5 to 7 months for new TA is projection. Only time will tell, but we have new negotiators and if that jackass Bourne stays out of it maybe we can get something done this time.

Because they have a training contract. Not sure if they enforce it now, but they didn't a few years ago.

There is no need to disclose this information so maybe they are just not choosing the ones stupid enough to do so - that and they are loosing a bunch before training contract is up so maybe it's a case of past history predicting future behavior.

Of course they could just pay better!

Source from the training department told me that they recently needed 6 shuttle FOs; 3 showed up for class and 2 passed training.
