I do. I heard they're doing a hiring freeze after March.

I was told they're trying to get dates for the summer classes. Maybe stopping hiring until sims aren't backed up? Just spoke with a recruiter today. :confused:

If anyone needs help getting a foot in the door with Republic just PM me. They are still hiring.

Rumors. They're cutting down on hiring because they're trying to get rid of this three month training delay. Haven't heard anything about a hiring freeze

Talked to my recruiter last week and he said There’s a seven week gap in between the last class of 2017 and the first class of 2018. So guys will be using the sim during that time

I was told by my recruiter today that the earliest class date would be May 2019. She said Republic wants to open the sims up for upgrades and not new hires right now.

Sounds about right. The company needs more FOs but the training capacity at FlightSafety hasn't changed much if at all. This time last year one could fit interview, ATP/CTP, the full non-AQP training program, and IOE completion all in 15 weeks.

I wonder how that’s going to work if guys were already assigned an earlier class date than May 2019
