Why Republic?
I'm looking at sending out resumes in 4 - 5 months when I reach the required TT. My brother flies for American and recommended PSA, Piedmont and Envoy since those three have direct flows to American. He also suggested I check out Republic if I didn't like those three. I've learned HR and recruiting events are just another form of sales and they tell sugar coat everything
So, from those of you who work for Republic, why did you choose it over others.
How long can I expect to stay on Reserve?
After coming off of reserve, how many hours, (within the FAA limits), can I hope to get, (the more the better since I don't have a family to worry about and want to upgrade as quick as I can)
Note: I don't have anything holding me down to a location, so I have no issue with moving and I plan to live near my base rather than commuting.

Stability was a big thing for me. I’m wary of the very small regionals flying outdated 50 seaters, unsure of their next contract extension. Republic has a large fleet of the airplane the majors want more of. Not that I want more regional flying, but it is nice not worrying about if they’re going to park any of our airplanes tomorrow. The company is very efficient and very well set up to survive the incredibly changing airline climate. Also, I recently upgraded and in January I’ll be making $90/hr at year 4 pay. I couldn’t really imagine doing this job (left seat) for anything less like a lot of other regionals do.

Amen. This is something prospective new hires should be taking into account. Everyone looks at the FO rates and bonuses but no one looks beyond that it seems. This is one area that the WOs have fallen woefully behind in.

And unfortunately won’t be improving anytime soon. The WO’s have no problems filling classes and the flow is viewed as a big part of that. No need to raise pay when you’re not having issues getting people through the door.

It’s $90 on the 200 and $94 on the 900 at year 4 at Endeavor, a wholly owned.

With no flow, which is typically what people go to the WO for. I’m guessing they were referring to the AAG regionals. Lower pay because of the flow carrot.
As far as Endeavor vs Republic captain pay, for anyone making the decision today they’re the same (since our scales match EDV in 2020) until way off in the distance when the Republic Capt would (in theory, if neither company changed anything for the next 12 years) top out higher.
