It's almost immediate.
Several months ago classes were full through next year and now they're not? Did a bunch of people accept offers and then retract them? Or did they add classes?

They added classes, almost double from what we were told, well that’s the plan anyway.

How long would Republic realistically take from day 1 of class to beginning day 1 of work at your base? TIA

Approx. 8 weeks. 2 of those are at home studying systems.

Republic acquired an additional SIM. Lack of SIMs and CKAs have been the choke points for training, and Republic has increased in both areas. They had to do that to be able to support the new flying they just got.

Classes are starting weekly and you can get a class right away.

Awesome thanks. Are the class sizes small if they are going weekly? I didn’t think the pool of pilots was big enough to warrant full monthly classes let alone weekly. Good news either way.

Smaller yes, but monthly output will still be greater. Also they are working to bring down the time it takes from your first day till off of IOE. The delays we saw in the past are no longer a thing.

More sims, and hiring a ton of Check Airmen to stop the backlog in IOE.
