Default New bonus structure question

I see the commitment is now 36 months to get the full bonus, and it's paid in installments, according to APC:

30 Days: 1500
Completion of IOE: 5000
12 Months: 2200
24 Months: 4400
36 Months: 4400

What are the terms if you leave early, do you have to pay back bonus money already received? It seems odd they would stagger the payouts if you just have to pay it back anyway, but regardless, was hoping someone would have some up-to-date info.

It's always been prorated. Wow, that new structure sucks. Good luck with that.

Looks like almost half of it will come after you’ve already upgraded!

I didn’t pay it back and haven’t heard a peep. They sent me some threatening letter when I first sent my badge back saying that it’s important to put back debt as it can be sent to collections.

Had they agreed to adjust my W-2”s showing the money would be paid back, I would have gone on a payment plan. But the lady said that I would have to go back and redo all my taxes once it was paid back in full then they could only do it. So I’m now stuck paying the IRS for not withholding enough taxes

not surprising with the amount of people running away within the first 24 months. They have never asked the money back from me or my colleagues.

Lack of flow/pathway combined with the increased pay at the fractionals.

Best way to get to a big 6 airline from Republic, is to go to a ULCC. Many have made it to Southwest from Republic, be that’s slowed down with the Max issues. Even if you guys were to get CCP, you would still have a better chance by going to a ULCC first. Republic will never have a true flow.

rumors of too many sim events failures in initial, upgrade, recurrent. People do not want to get stuck an extra year or 2 due to a PRIA reportable event.
