someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but I was told they are not putting first officers in the training department anymore. It seems to be fairly competitive to get into the department, because of their direct flow to Southwest. With us losing a bunch to the majors rapidly again, maybe it will be easier to get in.
As far as whether that’s a good move, unless you’ve got prior experience part 121 and E-170 specifically, I would argue it’s not a good idea to try to train it if you haven’t done it 🤷♂️

Does anyone know how many people they hiring monthly? And with that, how far out are CJO at the moment?
I saw that Skywest is hiring full steam and giving CJO to around November/December, but we don’t see that happening here (at least no one is posting..) Anyone afraid that republic might fall behind if don’t start hiring quickly soon?

Heard new hires are getting Jan class dates now for Skywest btw. You can't hire more than you have the capacity to train.

Republic is hiring as quickly as they can but are limited by simulator space and Check Airman to train new students. They also now have the highest signing bonus. If you want Republic and they haven't contacted you by this fall then you probably have something on your application that they don't like.

Bonus is split up over 4 years, and you have to stay 5 years to keep full amount. Most of the amount (5,000 and 6,000) is paid out at the end.

This is not correct, the $5000 and $6000 amounts are paid out in years 4 and 5. They also require upgrade. If you leave, you have to pay back whatever bonus you received in the prior 12 months.
