As far as whether that’s a good move, unless you’ve got prior experience part 121 and E-170 specifically, I would argue it’s not a good idea to try to train it if you haven’t done it 🤷‍♂️

There is at least 1 FO teaching at the school house at the moment.

Does anyone know how many people they hiring monthly? And with that, how far out are CJO at the moment?

I saw that Skywest is hiring full steam and giving CJO to around November/December, but we don’t see that happening here (at least no one is posting..) Anyone afraid that republic might fall behind if don’t start hiring quickly soon?

Heard new hires are getting Jan class dates now for Skywest btw. You can't hire more than you have the capacity to train.

I really have no idea now. For me pre COVID I think they were offering interview dates within a couple weeks.
