Does Republic help employees become pilots?
Hi, I was just wondering if Republic has some kind of program designed to help flight attendants get a leave of absence, financing, or scholarships so they can get their ratings and become pilots?
I appreciate any insight into this! If so, is are people using it? Is it helpful? Thanks! |

Propel will only help you in one of two specific circumstances. First, the college track requires you to attend one of the partner universities for essentially a 4-year degree. Second, there’s a company path but you have to a mainline employee for several years to be eligible. |
There is a steep discount for non-pilot employees at Republic's LIFT Academy. I don't know how long you have to work here to be eligible. You could probably contact them for the details.

I had a couple FA's told me that RAH was helping employees to join the Lyft academy program. Not sure what kind of help, I think they still had to come up with the $$ or a way to get financing.

There are several FA’s (along with other Republic employees) currently in the program at Lift. They still have to pay tuition, but it is significantly subsidized compared to regular students.

And then you become their indenchured servent or pay back what you owe. Things are moving fast right now, so don't be fooled. There are better ways...
