Is KORD hard to get???
Hi, I am still in flight school but republic is like one of top 3 regionals to work for in my list. I am from Chicago and would prefer to stay in Chicago. Is ORD a hard base to get for a new hired FO? Really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. Short answer: if you want ORD and don’t want to move don’t consider Republic. |

Thanks in advance. I've flown with many captains that live near ORD but commute to DC, EWR, IND or LGA. |
We should have a sticky on this forum that just says "IAH and ORD are hard to get" and nothing else.

Honest feedback, not trying to be be a Richard since you are not yet in the industry. Drop the “K” when causally mentioning the identifier of any domestic airport/base/hub/overnight in conversation with others in the airline industry. Three letters is all that is used in reality and everyone will know what you are talking about.
