We'll have to disagree slightly then.

Friends/family first of course, obvious in this scenario, and then if your friend happens to be a co-worker, so be it.

By after many years, and many employers, my primary "co-worker" group is fellow pilots regardless. I sometimes fly with guys whom I flew with 20 years ago, four jobs ago. I consider all airline pilots to be in that group, and they get treated accordingly. My "secondary" co-worker group would be non-pilot employees of my current airline.

Do this long enough and you'll probably develop the same attitude. If not, you might be part of the problem. Don't fall in love with your employer, they'll take advantage of you if they can, and except for a select few, they probably won't be your employer in 10-20 years.

Second this. OAL pilot (unless of course they're the S words.) > Same company pass riders/coworkers.

Yeah. About that. Our priority for seats in the back are the absolute bottom of the stack. I got bumped off a flight by a dog. I **** you not. A late passenger came running up at the absolute last minute with her freakin support dog that she had purchased a seat for. JS was already spoken for. I did the walk of shame off the plane with my bags so a dog could have my seat.

You’re getting a free ride...it’s FREE
Getting you to work is really not MY problem.

Republic is flying exactly no routes that are it's own. They make money for mainline carriers. We are all in this together, and none of this is free.

Are you OAL looking for a ride?

Where I am going on my company jumpseat is none of the other JS riders business.

Sounds like you’re threatening a jumpseat war over a legit use of the jumpseat in proper assignment order.

You will lose that fight.

My god, you guys just love to kick this hornets nest don't you? He was just saying the guy was a tool, and I completely agree with Rick's points. Only a matter of time before captain first officer PilotNico shows up to act tough.

I'm not the only one who remembers this stuff

Why are they flying routes that are not their own? How much scope and mainline pilot jobs did you ***** out for more money? i.e., it's not their fault. Thanks for playing.

Because the dinosaurs voted it in. You had just as much say in it as I did.

I’ll state again, since you didn’t read it the first time, that we’re in it together. Not disparaging you guys. You guys are wrapped around the axle a little too tight
