Any delays with published class timeline? And will they allow you make any ground or sim training up?

If you have a kid on the way, wouldn’t it be a better route to delay your training until after the birth. Not sure if you’d want to have the stressors or a new job, type rating/training combined with your spouse being pregnant...closing in delivering. Just my two cents, but I wouldn’t a distraction like that.
As for an “emergency”, yes the training department will work with you.
But all in all, I would make sure all the avoidable distraction and issues are dealt with so you can focus on the task at hand.

If it is more than a day or two that you are missing, there is no way you can make that up with your SIM partner. You will most likely be washed back to the class behind you or the next new hire class. It has happened before when someone has had a death in the family or something like that.

You got lucky! The only requirement is 66 hours in 7 days which could be any day of the week depending on when training started.
Your not on the seniority list for the atp CTP

Yesterday, was my last day as a Flight Instructor at the school I work. The rest of the week I will be doing some fun flying if the weather decides to hold off. However, it doesn’t look like that as a storm is moving in for Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday I head to the airport to head for Indianapolis to start my ATP course. As I mentioned prior I was lucky enough to be able to have my ATP/CTP course in-house with Republic.
My class schedule for this course is as follows:
Day 1 - Ground School 0800 - 1700
Day 2 - Ground School 0800 - 1700
Day 3 - Ground School 0800 - 1700
Day 4 - Ground School 0800 - 1700
Day 5 - FTD at Republic
Day 6 - Travel to STL for SIMS
Day 7 - STL SIMS
Day 8 - STL SIMS
Day 9 - STL SIMS
Day 10 - Travel back to IND
Day 11- Take ATP Written Exam and rest for INDOC starting in the Morning
Following this I will start INDOC for the March 10, 2020 class. I will post the schedule for that in another post.
I might decide to also make a Vlog about this experience but I am not sure at the moment. Time will tell. Can’t believe that this is happening, I waited all my life for this.
