received cares act money
No one knows how bad they could be. October is still 5 months away and a lot will change.
Overall loads have increased, yesterday we were at 9.7% of 2019 numbers, the highest since 3/25 https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus/passenger-throughput

Censorship??? Anybody with a half a brain should know: 1- this is APC after all. And 2- most people are well aware of the fact that there is a lot of uncertainty. In my opinion optimism is healthy.

Not quite so much censorship as much as avoiding getting a thread off topic as seems to be happening right now lmao.
As for the optimism, as nice as that would be...you and I both know more likely result is the doom and gloom. And either of those options without any substantial data is nothing more than just complete opinions devoid of any facts or data backing then up. Thus yielding nothing positive to the topic. The second posters reply was about as on point of a response as one could give, i.e. “no one knows”. Can we at least agree on that much?
Thanks

With my pure non-expert speculation, I think there is a 1/3 chance of each of these things happening.
-Passenger numbers rise drastically over summer, no furloughs are needed (let’s hope!)
-Second round of cares funding pushes back furloughs or outright prevents them
-Mass furloughs, lack of passengers or government funding
There could also be a combination of these things. Nobody knows. I’m preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. Also, the TSA passenger numbers albeit nothing what they once were are steadily rising every day.

Yes cash secured. Nobody knows but it doesn't look good. Yes, partly due to a slight uptick in TSA numbers but mostly due to the drastic cutback in flight options.

Looks better and better every day! TSA screenings are increasing nicely, and RAH received the money others here were publicly doubting. Lots of work on the vaccine front, and people are tired of sitting at home. Recovery is coming.
